Solved View DOS output of any .exe

Specs: Windows 7 x32

I'm very new to the world of dos and I'm hoping to stay away from it as i'm more the easy interface kind of GUI (get it ?) anyway , I was wondering if on a separate monitor or just window it would be possible to show the cmd / dos output of any .exe (or most) .

E.G- I presume when I sync my iPhone in iTunes it runs thousands of horribly long lines of dos and these are presented in a nice GUI .

Would this be possible ?

The command line in Windows 7, as with any modern OS, is not DOS. DOS is a very old OS that just happened to use the command line as it's user interface. DOS applications have limited support in 32 bit Windows 7 and none at all in the 64 bit version.

Most Windows executables have no output on the command line and I would expect that to be the case with iTunes. In general only utilities specifically designed to run from the command line will have command line output.

Your question brings up so many issues that it can't be answered in this forum.

Sort of like asking us to teach you to become a brain surgeon and make it simple.

1/3 of highway deaths are caused by drunks. The rest are by people who can't drive any better than a drunk.
