Solved vgi sends no signal to new monitor(has no dvi socket)-

Specs: Windows 7
my old samsung monitor worked with (white dvi cable)from my computer -acer ax5400 2yrs old=-(but not with blue vgi cable) my new baird monitor has no (white dvi input socket , only blue vgi input socket (because it is a tv /monitor it has scart /hdmi /ariel and blue vgi input sockets)-
when i connected my computer to my new monitor it keeps saying no signal (the monitor works (because it searches for tv channels)

I take it you mean VGA, there is no such thing as VGI.

Make sure that the TV/Monitor is adjusted to a compatible resolution with your Graphics card. TVs don't always auto adjust the way dedicated monitors do.
