Speedtouch / 330

Specs: Windows 7
We have a Speedtouch 33o broadband modem which works fine with our netbook which has Windows XP. We have recently bought a new laptop which has Windows 7 installed. We cannot connect to the internet using the Speedtouch modem. Our ISP in U.K. - Virgin Media - says Windows 7 will not work with any USB broadband modem. Could anyone tell me if this is correct, please?

Yes it is true - at least for now. CLICK ME to read Windows 7 Compatibility Center Report regarding SpeedTouch ADSL modem.

Thanks for that. Looks like I have a choice between waiting for a software update or getting a wireless router, which would probably be the better option.
