Solved Updating bios of system

Specs: Windows XP, P4 3.0GH/ 512 MB
How to update system bios . i m having mercury motherboard and( PI865D7) AND Intel chipset i865p.

I want to update it because it creates problem in installing window vista and 7

If you have found the BIOS file that will work with Windows 7/Vista,then you should read the motherboard paper/on-line manual for proper procedures of updating the BIOS. Most older motherboards are best updated through use of diskette drives.Newer motherboards use USB flash disks.

The Mercury site doesn't list any BIOS updates for your board:

"it creates problem in installing window vista and 7"

What makes you think the BIOS is to blame? Do you only have 512MB RAM? You shouldn't even be attempting to install Vista/Win7 on a system with that little memory. 512MB is barely enough to run XP.
