Update Win 7 32bit to 64bit without original

Specs: Windows 7
I bought a used computer with Windows 7 Pro 32 bit on it. It was originally loaded with Vista Business. I don't have any original install discs with it. I do have other Win 7 Pro upgrade disks. I want to reload Win 7 Pro 64 bit on it. Can I use my other Win 7 Pro upgrade disc and use the 32 bit key that is on the computer?

If it was loaded with a full edition Windows 7 then the key would be good for either version of Pro, If it was from an upgrade disk, I am not sure since I think I remember MS said the upgrade was only 32 to 32bit, etc., but that may just have been the direct upgrade path only. If it was from an OEM disk, then no, the key would not work.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
