Press Control/Alt/Delete at the same time (hold control and alt then tap delete) and select Task Manager. Find any/all instances of your browser and any downloader and select and stop process on them one at a time. That should do it. If it does not help, press and hold your 'Start' manual button on your computer until it shuts down (usually about 6 seconds), wait a few more seconds and press again to start (understand that this will loose any work you have open and not saved at the time).

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
This site is about helping people, lets keep it that way.

The first thing I would try would be to hit the Control Alt Delete keys, which will bring up the Task Manager. Click the Applications tab and if you see anything related to shop at home running, end the task. Also check the processes tab to see if anything relates to this application. You can also click Run and type MSCONFIG in the box. When it opens, click the Startup tab and if you see it listed there uncheck the box and exit. Post back if you still need help.
