Uninstall program not listed in W7 Add/Remove

Hewlett-packard G71-340us notebook

Specs: Windows 7, 1.8/2 GB
I installed an Enginering Software but now i want to uninstall it but it is not visible in add/remove portion of program. Why it is so
Program was installed and not copied. Should i simply delete it or some other better way is there for that

Your best option would be to contact the supplier of the software.

Try looking in Start, All Programs and your program may have an uninstaller there or use the installation CD as it likely has an uninstaller.

I doubt it. The "Enginering Software" the OP is talking about is actually an old Engineering Software of 2001 that works in W2K, Why the OP neglected to include the above info here is beyond me.

just delete the files from c;/programs folder, and delete the entry in start/programs
that should be fine, if you need to get rid of the registry entries you can do that manually in regedit, will take some time, but its easy to do..

i hate computers!
but cant help myself....
