Specs: Windows 7
I am running Windows 7 Professional service pack 1 and updated to IE 10.05 because IE9 was constantly freezing on start up. Now IE10 is doing the same thing.

It sounds like your problem isn't related to IE so how is uninstalling IE10 & going back to IE9 gonna help?

✔ Best Answer
Have you recently performed full system scans for malware using your real-time anti-virus and the on-demand programs Malwarebytes Free and SuperAntiSpywareFree?

Have you tried running Internet Explorer in Add-on Disabled mode to see whether it's an add-on problem?

Have you considered another web browser entirely such as:
-Firefox
-Pale Moon (a derivative of Firefox)
-Chrome
-Chromium (the open-source program Chrome comes from)
-Opera

I have tried everything you suggested. No malware was found, I disabled all my add-ons, and upped my virtual memory....all to no avail. I will be using Mozilla Firefo from now on. Thanks to all who responded.
