Unable to view CD Drive in the explorer

Specs: Windows 7
I am unable to view my DVD Drive letter in windows explorer. Power supply is present to the DVD Drive. what could be the problem with my PC. i am using WIndows 7 as Operating System.

Go to BIOS and check if the DVD drive is detected there.

Open Device Manager and see if there is a yellow exclamation mark beside the DVD drive. If yes, then open Properties of the DVD drive. There you will see a code, 45 or something. Please advise the code number and any wording related to it.
