Specs: Windows 7, 4GHz, 4GB
I have a toshiba external hard drive that used to be used on a Mac, the Mac broke so now I'm working with Windows 7 Home Premium. I plug in the hardrive and it won't let me get on, "Access denied", I tried to change ownership in terms of "Properties" but it states, "Unable to change owner, Access Denied." I tried with command prompt through admin, I used takeown /f :Q and it says Access Denied. I need help. Any ideas.

The first link below seems to be an easy method to take ownership of files. Be sure to also read the second link to get full access to the files. The third link is what Microsoft has to say about the subject.
