Clarify what you mean by the start up screen. If you mean the screen when first booting the computer then there is no relationship between the two events.

Sorry, I can't see the link between yahoo homepage, Google Chrome and Toshiba startup screen.

Are you just saying that you are stuck on the Toshiba startup screen, so you can't do anything on the computer?

EDIT:
Overlapped with OthHill above.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

It sounds like you're talking about your browser. If you mean your current homepage is set to some toshiba site and you want to change it to yahoo, you should be able to do that in 'internet options'.

#3 could well have guessed right on this.

If so you should be able to go to the Yahoo homepage then in Tools > Internet Options (General tab) hit the "Use current" button. If you happen to have some security program that locks the homepage then you will need to turn of the locking temporarily.

If that doesn't work or is not what you mean, let us know and we'll try to take it further.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks
