From Windows 7, create a separate partition for Server 2003 & run Server 2003 setup. Once that is done, you need to repair Windows 7 bootloader so that you can boot into either of the two OSes.

Might consider running a virtual machine instead of a dual boot if your system is fairly new.

Well! I created seperate partition in Windows 7 specifically for win 2003 server. But when I ran the setup for 2003 server, I got the above mentioned message.
What I understand by this message is that system is not supporting older version of OS if I have already installed a newer version of OS.

You need to run the Server installation from outside of Windows 7.
