Unable to get on Twitter.

Specs: Windows 7
I am a vivid Twitter user. Recently, received constant message:" Oops. Something went wrong! Please try later! Before this happened I was asked to get a larger circulation with my tweets which would involve advertisements. But I declined! No bugs, no viruses on my computer. I tried to restore my computer to an earlier date, but still receives this stupid message! Thank you for your needed help.

May simply be a cookie issue..

Run ccleaner and let clean out cookies, history, and anything else it finds which ought not to be there.

https://download.cnet.com/ccleaner/

Get the free version, it’s fine. Just means that you manually update it as required.

If clearing cookies doesn't help try another browser just to prove whether or not it is a browser issue.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

Please post your twitter link and we'll try it out.

Also go to Google, find Twitter and see if you can get on from there.

That message is typically shoved out when you have a bad or dead link.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

Try removing the period after the site extension.
You post is showing as https://twitter.com.

It should be:

https://twitter.com/

... and when you've done that if it works make a shortcut to it (or a Favorite) so that you don't have to type it each time.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

Perhaps you mean "avid" not "vivid"

I've had the same error message many times when logging
into Gmail during the last 6 weeks or so. I think it may have
started immediately after I re-installed Windows (in order to
evade the time limit on a time-limited trial program whose
time had run out....) I might have disabled something while
tweaking the OS, such as a service, that was previously
working. It now takes longer and typically two or three tries
before my username and password are both accepted.
