If you can remember what shortcut you clicked on it will help.

Otherwise I can only suggest the EXE fix from here:
http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorial...

If that doesn't help, try the LNK fix from the same website.

Another way would be to run Windows System Restore but that would seem like using a sledgehammer to crack a nut at this stage.

Since System Restore points are made once a week plus before any update or program install and the fact that it does not effect personal files, a System Restore is a viable solution here and may well save the time and trouble trying multiple solutions. I have no problem with trying it here first.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.

Fingers
You might well be right. Unfortunately I once had a bad experience of System Restore messing things up. Even the undo did not restore the previous situation properly. This meant I had to do more work to sort the issue out than if I had avoided system restore in the first place. Google finds some bad restores too.

I accept however, that System Restore usually goes well but I tend to soft peddle it in view of the above. The EXE and LNK fixes are quick and well used for association issues. The system restore can still be used if they don't help.

It's just a matter of which way you lean I guess - no biggie, just explaining.
