Unable to access files encrypted by 3rd party Folder Lock

January 16, 2016 at 11:58:50
Specs: Windows 7
Hello! I have a Folder Lock 7. I have encrypted 100GB disk to that, out of that 46 Gb was occupied. Recently my external hard disk was infected by virus and when I removed the virus thereafter I am not able to access the files inside the Folder Lock. I'm able to Unlock the Drive with the password but the drive is not accessible.
Please Help.

File was locked using Newsoftwares's Portable Folder Locker.

After unlocking I get the dummy drive and when I try to open that I get an error message saying "Z:/ is not accessible. The file or directory is corrupted or unreadable"

"Recently my external hard disk was infected by virus"
Copy & Paste the contents of the log in your reply please, so I can see what virus was removed.

No Help! Files were originally in my one partition of External Hard Disk which was encrypted by Folder Lock so unable to recover files.
Note: I'm able to unlock the Folder Lock however though the core files of encrypted folder is lost so I'm not able to open the "Z" drive which shows after successful entry of password.

I repeat: File was locked using Newsoftwares's Portable Folder Locker.

After unlocking I get the dummy drive and when I try to open that I get an error message saying "Z:/ is not accessible. The file or directory is corrupted or unreadable"

Your best bet is to contact the people who created this third party program (Newsoftwares) for help.
