Solved UN able to connect a second laptop to my Broadband conection

Specs: Windows XP
Before I dispose of my present laptop which is old and slow,I have a more up to date model which ask me fore the security key to connect to the internet, as I am with post office broadband at present and have been since 2008 I cannot remember my password, can you help.

Your pass phrase should be shown in the webpage for your router. You put it in the browser address line and it will be something along the lines of 198.168.1.1.

If it is the Post Office broadband (business or enterprise grade), you probably will have to contact the postmaster or Post Office Tech Support.
If it is your own (consumer grade), the above suggestion should work.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
