Specs: Windows 7
When typing the cursor jumps back to another point in all kinds of typing even in Word or programming code. Has anybody had this problem? Any solution?

I've seen this complaint several times before. I don't know what
causes it, but you could look in Control Panel > Ease of Access
Center under several different categories for settings that modify
how the mouse and keyboard work. You may have accidentally
or mistakenly turned one on without knowing it. Also, under
Internet Options > Advanced tab, the second and third settings
have to do with positioning the caret, which is probably what you
are seeing move around. I don't know if those settings affect the
whole Windows system, but they might, so I'd look at them first
and uncheck either of those two boxes if they are checked.

This can be caused by a key stuck on the keyboard or more often due to conflicting plugins.
