What date are you looking for? Each individual component (motherboard, RAM, hard drive, etc) will have a different date of manufacture. If you have an OEM system, it will also have a date of assembly, possibly a label on the back of the case?

Here's your memory patch:

Help and support in Windows has system information. it may provide enough info. The date is usually not important but the version and model are needed.

You can put all the ram you want to that fits if the motherboard supports it. You can't change windows 32 bit however to use any of it.

I have never tried it but I guess it could be possible that a ram disk might be used with the extra ram. I am not too sure it would work. The windows issue is a problem of how it can count past 4G.

Katy Perry, I'd never treat you badly.
