turning on wireless capability

February 21, 2011 at 10:48:01
Specs: Windows 7, i5
The Fn F2 switch does not work out of the box unless I let Windows fix it with Troubleshooting. Once Troubleshooting applies fix the button works.
I want to know how to do it manually.
The netsh wlan show settings states that the wireless is enabled
Wireless services are on
I configure multiple new notebooks and I don't want to run troubleshooting

you may have both windown wlan and a third party wlan controller running at the same time.
check in msconfig for the third party controller/service and stop it starting, or stop the win7 wlan service.
they will conflict if you have two services trying to run

i hate computers!
but cant help myself....
