Turn Off Speakers if Headphones plugged in

Specs: Windows 7
I have an Asus Running Windows 7 with realtek hd audio manager when I plug in my Headphones my Laptop speakers Keep Playing Ive tried everything to turn them off but if theyre off the headphones are off and vice versa its annoying

How old is the laptop? The speakers turning off when you plug in headphones is to do with the headphone connector itself, not the software, so if it's still under warranty I'd return it for repair.

It may actually be an option in either realtek console OR Windows
Control Panel>Hardware and Sounds >Sounds
and look carefully through the options.
Also on some motherboards if you unplug the speakers and plug them in again while Windows is running you get options for configuring that particular sound connector and there may lie the option to mute the speakers when the headphones are plugged in.
