Firefox
To set Yahoo! Mail as the default email client in Firefox:

Click the Tools menu in the upper left hand corner of Firefox, then select Options.
Select the Applications tab.
Under the Content Type column, scroll to mailto and click Always ask; a dropdown will appear, select Yahoo! Mail.
Click OK.

Internet Explorer
This feature is not currently available for Internet Explorer on Windows 7.

To enable this feature, Yahoo! Toolbar version 7.2 or newer will need to be installed on the computer. If the Yahoo! Toolbar is not installed, you need to download it first.

When you install it, make sure you check the Install the Yahoo! Mail Plug-in and make Yahoo! Mail my default Mail provider checkbox.

To set Yahoo! Mail as the default email client in Internet Explorer:

From the Windows Start menu, select Settings | Control Panel.
In the Control Panel folder, select Internet Options. The Internet Properties dialog box appears.
Click the Programs tab.
From the E-mail pull-down menu, select Yahoo! Mail.
Click OK to save your changes and close the Internet Properties dialog box.

After completing one of the methods listed above, Yahoo! Mail will be your computer's default email application. When you click an email link in any browser from this point forward, Yahoo! Mail will open.

You really should learn to use Google
