I am trying to upload windows and it's telling me to reboot. I am in the boot manager and it's asking me to choose between 1. IDE 0: WDC WD5000BPKT-00PK4TO or 2. IDE 1: MATs---ADVD-RAM UJ8B0 I am not sure what option to use to upload the windows to even get past the acer s reen?

Hi Kelly, uploading refers to copying files from your computer to some place on the web, I'm pretty sure that's not what you're trying to do.

Are you trying to install Windows to your hard drive? If so, when it asks what you want to boot to, point it to your matsu$#!ta drive and it should run the Windows installer

Do you know how to install XP to a SATA HDD?

Method 3 is preferred: http://www.computing.net/howtos/sho...

Maybe you can make a boot CD to restore your system. And I know one free software can help you with it.
