trying to install Norton 360 from a disc

Specs: Windows 7
can't install norton 360 on my laptop. Disc will not autorun. Any ideas please or what to type to get it to run manually

Right-click the CD icon, then left-click "Install" from the context-menu.

If "Install" is not in the context-menu, left-click "Open" and it will show you the contents of the disc. Look for a file in the root of the disc named "Setup.exe" or "Setup.msi" and double-click that file.

I've got a much better idea - don't install that crappy software on your laptop!

Other than that, you probably don't have the AutoPlay feature enabled. Here's how it's done:

I agree with the above, don't install it. Try Avast free version (download). It works better and does not slow your system down. Other choices are MS Security Essentials (also free download), or Webroot (free trial only).

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
