toshiba satelite power plug broke at inside connector

Specs: Windows 7
need to open cover to in stall ac plug connector broke off.tried using needle nose plier to big I have to open case, but dont know how. removed all small screws.

Apart from screws, the two halves of the case are held together by concealed plastic clips around the edge. You have to carefully prise them apart with a thin bladed screwdriver.

I'm not familiar with that particular case, but a putty knife may
be a better choice than a screwdriver when you need to shove
on those hidden plastic tabs. Don't use a sharp knife, either.

I had a satellite 6500 and had to replace the left mouse button so you will need a eyeglasses screwdriver set and a thin blade screwdriver. The screws may seem very difficult to loosen this is because they use loctight at the factory. after the screws are out be careful when separating the 2 halves there are several cables that keep them connected. I would suggest if you unplug cables make a diagram and put masking tape on the cable identifying id so there's no mix up. 2 of the connected cables will be right where you want to get to one is the fan and other I forgot. Another suggestion put all screws in ziplock bag or on a magnet they are very small and I did not recover all of mine.
