toshiba laptop will not restart after plugging in camera wit

July 5, 2012 at 19:35:46
Specs: Windows 7
After plugging a digital camera into my laptop with a usb cord it is now stuck on the startup repair screen. It says that it can't fix automatically and if it is due to recently attaching a device to it then to unplug and restart which I have tryed numerous times.

Perform a Factory Recovery. This will set up Windows on your laptop just as it was when you first bought it.

But don't forget to backup all of your data BEFORE you do the recovery. All of your applications and documents will be gone afterwards.

Check your boot order in the BIOS. Make sure the CD/DVD drive is set to first. Did you back up your data?

The defaults might not have the CD/DVD Drive as first in the boot order. Look around for the boot order in the BIOS and set the CD/DVD drive to first.

Set item #3 to number 1. The ODD stands for Optical Disk Drive. I asked this before, but I will repeat, did you back up your data?
