Specs: Windows 7
How can I get thunderbird to add the address of senders to my contact list? As in outlook when an email comes in the sender is added to the contact list but not the address book. Wouldn't it be good if Thunderbird could do the same? Probably it does but how? It would be even better if all the email programmes did the same and added senders to the address book as well.

There appears to be only the option to do this for outgoing addresses (Tools>Options>Composition>Addresses Tab>[] Automatically add outgoing email addresses (choice)...). There does not appear to be the option for incomming, perhaps because that would add all of the junk mail addresses which would also negate any junk mail warning and options since being in the address book is one of the criteria it uses in deciding this.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
