The computer shuts itself down since the fan is not operating.

I guess you could try to fix it or take it in to some repair place. I guess.

1/3 of highway deaths are caused by drunks. The rest are by people who can't drive any better than a drunk.

You can try using a can of compressed air you can purchase from a computer or office supply store and blow out all of the dust in your laptop. You can even open some of the openable ports to have more places to blow through. If your heatsink and fan are clogged with dust this may free everything and it may work again correctly. If not then you will probably need to take it to a pro to get the fan replaced. If under warranty, contact the manufacturer for service or take it to where you purchased it.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
