Specs: Windows 7, 3 GHz / 2815 MB
been given the advice several times to do a system restore. on previous comp. i had NO trouble doing that. on this comp. (wind.7 sp1) for the luv of me i cannot figure out HOW to do a restore set point. it shows the date as the last m.s. update several days ago. i cannot go back before that. i've been reading this site and m.s. even the m.s. site is confusing...they show a picture of the way the system page and it doesn't even look like mine! still i found it and it shows oct 18th as the last restore date - the same as the m.s. update. all this to because i was trying to get the conduit off my computer.

have you also tried a reset of IE, if indeed your using ie tools/internet options.reset.
Ive read it works for some people without actually having to do a restore.

you could also open regedit and seach for conduit, delete/f3 and delete every item with conduit in the name, this seems to be aggravating a lot of people.

i hate computers!
but cant help myself....
