You would have to uninstall Internet Explorer 9 to revert to IE8. Why not use another browser?

You've been helped by a 15 year old.

✔ Best Answer
You should be running IE10 by now. Will the test work with Firefox?

EDIT: If you insist on downgrading to IE8, go to Start > Control Panel > Programs & Features. On the left side click "view installed updates", then scroll down to "Windows Internet Explorer 9", right click on it & then click uninstall.

Most likely Firefox will accept it:

Consider a portable version of Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome so you can easily remove it later.

You don't have to download the PortableApps shell program, just the specific portable program you're looking for. "Install" it to your desktop, then remove the "installed" folder from there when you're done.

You could put Firefox portable on a flash drive (or Google Chrome portable spyware if you prefer it).

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks
