Solved Stuck on Startup Repair

Specs: Microsoft Windows 7 Home Edition, 3.4 GHz / 16346 MB
Recently, I restarted computer and it says that it fail to start. So I ran startup repair from Win7 disc, results showed nothing, no errors. I restarted and it went straight back into startup repair with the disc out. Now it is stuck on startup repair, attempting repairs. Tried Safe mode, but it is not on the list, only startup repair and normal start. Is the only way around this a clean install?

Boot from the DVD again and choose "System Restore" from the System Recovery Options box.

As above, System Restore should do it.
If it does not, you may have a hardware issue so test your memory with a bootable CD prepared with Memtest. Let it run all tests. If errors, retest with one stick of memory at a time to verify. If the memory is good, test your hard drive for errors with your hard drive mfg's utility (DOS version) from a bootable CD. Run the longest test available.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
