Hey all. I recently bought Fallout 2. I was having some color issues in the game (that I eventually resolved). During one of my attempts to fix it, I set the executable to run in 256 color mode. When I exited the game, my list or detail folder view was still giving me the 256 color icons.

I tried changing my resolution back and forth, switching to 16-bit color and then back to 32-bit, and ONLY THOSE icons stay stuck in 256 color mode. Everything else is fine! Any suggestions?!

Restart your computer - Right click the game - properties -
Click the Compatibility Tab - If 256 is checked than uncheck -
Click a different setting - Click APPLY at the bottom.
I've tried just un-checking 256 color and APPLY and the bad color
came back.
