ssid not found on my laptop but on others

April 17, 2011 at 10:25:13
Specs: Windows 7
My husband and myself have the same laptop, bought same time same day.
We had our xbox, wii, cell phones, and 2 laptops connected.
We changed the password and now my computer and my cell phone wont connect but the wii xbox and his laptop do.
I pick up all surrounding wireless connections except my own.
We've tried resetting everything, called manufacturers, everyone is saying that it is not a problem with their devices.

You changed what password?

1/3 of highway deaths are caused by drunks. The rest are by people who can't drive any better than a drunk.

reset the d-link to default and start the setup again.
usually by sticking a pen in a small hole and rebooting the router.

also remove your settings on the laptop, as it may be looking for the wrong ssid.

i hate computers!
but cant help myself....
