Spooler keeps sending print job over and over

Specs: Windows 7
Lets pick this issue back up please.

I too am experiencing the exact same thing with the same model printer. Windows 7 machine, HP2035n Printer. I'll send a print to the printer spooler (with the spooler open) and I can see the spooler send the print job over and over again to the printer. It never stops on its own. I can pause and cancel the print job without any problems. But if I let it go, it will print indefinitely.

I too did everything that FINGERS did in his original post. Nothing seemed to work. I stopped the spooler service and replaced the two spooler files (the exe and dll). re-started the spooler, same thing. Nothing seems to fix this. I've completely uninstalled the HP printer and re installed it several times. No luck.

Any suggestions?

Not sure it will help, but have you tried the "HP Print and Scan Doctor"?

Might give you a clue as to what's happening.

If that does not work, try Tweaking.com
Windows repair tools. Run it as directed in Safe Mode and do all of the prescan steps. I have used it to repair Windows Update that had problems and a couple of other issues and it has been recommended here many times. I am assuming that since you reinstalled the printer, it is the print spooler that needs repairing and this should do it.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.

Completely removing electric power for a few seconds fixed a similar problem on my HP printer.

Ill try these suggestions and report back. Also, i didn't mention, I'm sure the problem is not in the printer, as other networked PCs still print to it without error.
