Specs: Windows 7
I uninstalled google toolbar in my sony vaio laptop. As a result I have faced with a lot of problems. Most of the functions in my windows 7 including sound, internet, microsoft security essentials, system restore, Mentainence tasks, vaio help etc have been disabled without my concent. It seems that unknown program dominates the system. Any method to access system restore or maintainence is not accessible. No factory settings accepted. What should I do?Please help me.

this is i think nothing to do with google toolbar.
i suggest you save all your personal files.
then do a factory restore, this will reset your machine to the day you bought it, you will then have copy over your files after scanning then, and reinstall any extra programs, but it will save you many hours of trying to find the issue and many of frustration.
Sony VAIOs have a hidden recovery partition which can be accessed by tapping F10 on booting.

i hate computers!
but cant help myself....
