SMART harddisk error

Specs: Windows 7
I get SMART harddisk error with starting my computer. i can't run a backup, i have spend already 5 DVDs and it ask stil more DVDs for back-up. Dose any body has de knowlegd about the problem?

Yes, it may take quite a lot of DVD's to backup a computer. Maybe 100 or so even more.

An external usb or networked drive may be easier.

1/3 of highway deaths are caused by drunks. The rest are by people who can't drive any better than a drunk.

buy a new drive, you need one anyway, put it in your machine, then copy over to the new drive while you can.

i hate computers!
but cant help myself....
