it is a smartbro USB Modem
every time i connect to internet a Message Box pop-up saying that my USB Modem is Unavailable..
i have enough load and great signal..
any fix on it??
im using WIN 7
and my laptop is a Toshiba
Is the Modem Windows 7 compatable ??
if that a wifi modem? or a dongle?
most toshiba machines come with built in modem/wifi/ethernet.
maybe you need to run the modem software to make sure it is installed correctly.i hate computers!
but cant help myself....
win 7 is not compatible with smart bro
but i already follow the instruction given to me by the smartbro
sounds like a usb dongle such as verizon, att and others have which is a paid service.
If your subscription is paid up then smartbro should be able to get you up and running.I had cases with verizon where the problem was on their end, not in the laptop. A few minor tweaks and all was well.
Some HELP in posting on Computing.net plus free progs and instructions Cheers
have you tried putting it into another usb slot? i assume loaded is that you have sufficient funds, and the signal strength is good, means that you can see a signal, which would indicate that your dongle is working in win 7, or it would not see a signal and not be able to register.
i see a lot of people have this issue on google, but most of it is in the phillipines, and much of the answers are in talagog? but i think the idea is use the update manager from the smart bro..maybe you need to connect via a wired network and update the driver/firmware.i hate computers!
but cant help myself....
