What browser are you using?

I can't really guess. Silverlight is a program from microsoft to run "rich" media. It needs a few things to work correctly. One is silverlight or a plug in for a non-microsoft browser and it needs a properly working web page.

There are some tests at the microsoft silverlight site. I'd consider updating my browser to IE9 and get Silverlight 4 at least until 5 comes out.

If you have a netbook it may be that silverlight can't access the video correctly as microsoft broke it that way. Some other video cards may have problems too and may not work or may be fixed with some driver update.

I use Google chrome in preference to Internet Explorer as I find it faster and easier.

Thank you
