Set Safe Mode as Boot in GUI, can't undo!

July 14, 2012 at 09:48:42
Specs: Windows 7
How do I undo Safe mode set in GUI for Windows 7? I set the safe mode in normal mode to boot up safe mode to fix some problems, however, the system will not boot in safe and only restarts over and over, I can't undo the check mark I put so it just makes a loop now.

If I use F8, I still can't get into safe mode, I've run the Startup Repair tool from windows 7, and Last Known Good attempts to boot normal mode but gives me a BSOD. Please help!

Using your Windows 7 Repair Disk (that you should have made when the machine was new) to launch a System Restore from outside of Windows. Choose a date well before you made the change that apparently caused the problem.

If you have not made a Windows 7 Repair Disk yet, you can still make one from another Windows 7 machine as long as both are 32bit or 64bit. This is an important tool to have so keep it in a safe but accessible location.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
