March 26, 2012 at 09:36:00
Specs: windows 7 starter, 1gb
HP netbook, loaded drivers but the screen goes black the mouse will respond but there is nothing I can do at that time. I had to uninstall Zone Alarm after a failed update I still had avast and my system firewall (<crap) so I would reinstall after I resolved this, had to restart to finish uninstall and once I did i ran into this problem I didnt want to lose the data on my computer but i'm not particularly attached to windows 7.
I've thied ctrl+alt+del(no responce)
Safe mode didn't hlp
ctrl+f8 nothing
I can open boot menu and wantedto know if my only option was to install a new OS, hopefully not the case
