Hi, I think this how to will really benefit you:
CDR's hold 700MB info, DVDR's hold 4.7GB
The choice is yours. I wouldn't use re-writeable discs as they seem to go corrupt after time.

Some HELP in posting on plus free progs and instructions Cheers

Most Photo Album creation programs have an option to store the original images along with the slide show. I strongly suggest you use that option as it will allow you to access them if you want to get a print from them at a later date.
Whether you use cd's or dvd's will depend on how many and how much space they use, both are pretty cheap, use good quality disks if you value your photos.
Be sure that the burnt disks are ok before deleting files from source.

In addition to the excellent advice above I suggest you make more than one copy of each disk. After the disks are made then just copy them to another disk. That is called insurance. Besides you will probably want to give them to others.
