Save web page report to PDF file using W7 IE8

Microsoft Windows 7 professional 64-bit

Specs: Windows 7
I am a police officer and have to do crash reports from the web using a pdf. After the pdf loads, when I click on it to "save as" to place it on my desktop, the box does not come up. I am using Windows 7 on a Dell latitude E5510. Dell advises it is an issue with IE. Anybody have an answer for this problem I do not want to have to use Mozilla if I can keep from it.

have you tried resetting IE? Open IE, click on tools/internet options/advanced and then click on reset.
See if that helps ;-)

You may also want to try maybe uninstalling the pdf reader and then re-installing it, it may have gotten corrupted somehow

Some HELP in posting on Computing.net plus free progs and instructions Cheers

Tried that. Tried on two different computers running Windows 7. Same results. The save icon doesn't even come up.
