samplitude 10se compatibility issues with W7

Sony Vaio vpccw21fx/r notebook
March 15, 2010 at 06:05:50
Specs: windows 7 pro, 2.00GHz Ram 4GB 64Bit
I recently installed samplitude 10se on my W7pro. Samp. should work in W200/XP/Vista but as W7 offers Xp mode, i gave it a go.
Now the problem is when i try to scan my VSTi directx, an error info appears and tells me to contacy my hardware manufacturer. I have tried to twick it between XP/Vista settings. All midi inst. wont play. But i have notted too that i may need a firewire as the globle audio output but my Pc came pre installed with Microsoft Wavetable Synth.

Anyone with help on this will be much appreciated.

sounds like you may have messed up a driver, try system restore to the point you installed this program, you machine should then run correctly, then go to the samplitude site and see if there are updates (Samplitude 11)that you need for the program, or indeed any known issues.
http://support.magix.net/boards/sam... you may have to become a member here.

i hate computers!
but cant help myself....

Hi Princecorum, i am just too excited to hear from you. It sounds like you have knowledge about my particular prog called samp. I find your input very useful as it is something i never thought of. I will try that shortly and get back if there is any more problems!!

Thanks.
