right click causes windows explorer to hang

January 11, 2011 at 21:17:28
Specs: Windows 7, 6GB
I have a new Acer desktop computer and it was running fine until I loaded iTunes, Microsoft Live and the last Microsoft install. I now cannot right click on anything or the windows explorer hangs up. Sometimes it will respond after hours and but mosr times I have to reboot. I need to be able to right click without this happening.

Running Windows 7 Pro 64-bit, Office 2007 and some business software with Corel x4, Photoshop,

Also, I cannot get into Safe Mode when rebooting, I hold down on the F8 key and the computer will not boot in safe mode or boot at all until I release the F8 key but will not go into Safe Mode.

Please help

1st you tap the f8 key a few times, once is enough if you tap at the right time.
do a system restore to a point before any problems started and install 1 item at a time to see what is causing the issue, bet its itunes though.

i hate computers!
but cant help myself....

I have uninstalled iTunes but Windows Live Essential will not uninstall. When I try to restore I go back to the point where all the trouble began and it will not restore the system. What is going on?
