You need to be clearer. What browser were you using before? If you were using Internet Explorer before but Chrome now, you need to import your favorites/bootmarks from your old browser to your new one (probably File>Import). If you are just missing the ToolBar that shows these features, you need to right click on the top bar and add back the check mark next to the tool bar, probably the menu tool bar. If neither of these are your problem, please explain more clearly so we can help.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.

Thank you but I figured this out (after I posted.) So to all you non-IT's...Retore your system back to it's most recent. (Took about 10 to 12 minutes) AND voila! Everything is as it was,,,favorites file, edit, view, etc!.
Go to start,
click "control panel,"
click "systems," (there's an option like restore before last update.. click that.
Wow! What a relief to see everything as it was 2 days ago!
None of the "fixes" from any of the sites worked. I think you'll all find this simple!
(I previously un-installed Google Chrome, but I don't think you need to if you follow these steps to restore.

System restore is always an option, but if you posted more details on the problem, there probably would have been another way. Anyway, system restore is generally a safe option (with laptops, make sure power is plugged in, you don't want the battery to quit before it finishes), you may just need to reinstall any programs or updates you need that was installed after the restore from date.
