Solved Removing FoxTab and Answer search engine

Specs: Windows 7
Somehow I have downloaded the Foxtab home page. Also have Ask search engine instead of my usual one. I was downloading apps for my browsers firefox and IE.
I have tried to remove with uninstall a program also have downloaded Your Uninstaller and tried to remove that way. Have searched online for a how to but nothing has worked. Am I stuck with them forever.

Foxtab appears to be a legitimate add on to Mozilla Firefox. That said, if you don't want it to be your default search engine then you can change that by using the manage search engine drop down. Left click on the icon in front of your search engine box. Choose manage search engines and follow the instructions there to remove foxtab and set Google as your default.

Thanks OtheHill that was such a fast response. I really appreciate the response since I have tried everything I could to get rid of foxtab. With your straight forward instructions I am off now to get back back Google. Thanks again.
