Solved remove power on password

Specs: Windows 7
everytime i log off i have to put the power on password in and it drives me crazy. i have removed my reg passsword, but if i get the power on password wrong 3 ties i have to turn my laptop off and wait untill i can put it in again. It's a pain in the ass. I want to remove it...

Most likely you need to go in to BIOS Setup and disable the "Power On" password there. Then "Save & Exit" (usually F10).

What's stopping you from removing it? Just enter the BIOS & do it! I can't explain further than that because you didn't bother to post a make/model/model number & there's no point giving you the Ford explanation if you have a Chevy.
