June 2, 2012 at 10:12:17
Specs: Windows 7
computer crashed. Ordered recovery discs...Win 7-64 bit. Loaded both discs successfully. After all the partitions and hard drive files loaded from the discs, It just sits at 0 or 1% progress of completely the reload. I then receive an error message...

"Reducer--

C:\RM\image\TempBASE.WIM

was not found".

It will not continue to load after this message. Help, please!!!!

It did not work. Apparently the reload is not even far enough along to read the disc with the fix on it. If I restart the computer with the "fix" disc, it says it needs an operating disc to start. I just went through the whole reload process again, with the same results. Why do the discs from HP have problems like this? Any more ideas? Please help. :) Thanks so much for your idea.
