Reducing size of .avi file

Hi, I just created some text effect in adobe after effects and rendered it. But the size of the video takes almost 1 GB and it's just 10 seconds long. I'd like to ask how could I reduce file size without quality loss. Is it possible to keep the same resolution?

Videos end sizes are a result of a number of things. The quality/range of sound, quality/range of colors, framerate, compression method, file type, display size, and maybe a few others I have forgotten.
There should be some web sites or even adobe help to learn how to reduce overall size of a file.

1/3 of highway deaths are caused by drunks. The rest are by people who can't drive any better than a drunk.
