recycle bin file full yet no files to be seen

December 15, 2010 at 17:18:06
Specs: Windows 7
my recycle bin shows full (as it should) yet when I open it I can't see the files. I've tried the personalize... remove & reactivated the icon, reversed empty full icons and put back solutions to no avail. Nor did I install any programs.
ps a few files are in there (I would like to get back) if I press empty... it says there are 4 files etc.

Organize>Properties then increase allowable size. This should allow continued use for now without full errors/problems.
Try Organize>Folder and Search Options and look through the 'Hide' options BUT make notes on what you change so you can restore it to what it is if needed. Change one option at a time and save, then see if your icons are now available.
Try Organize>Select All then if you like, try right clicking over the area they should be and restore (if visible now, left clicking on one will retain the hi-lite for the one only).
If nothing helps do a system restore to a time before you began having this problem.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
This site is about helping people, lets keep it that way.
