March 5, 2012 at 09:25:08
Specs: Windows 7
So my sister downloaded some game called crystal maze and it shows as a adobe flash player v10.0 r32 file. It always open on start-up and its getting really annoying. I have tried so many things to delete it. It does get deleted but it comes back every time I start up the computer. I really need help on this. I am not a techie. Please HELP

Does the game show in Control Panel > Programs & Features? If so uninstall it there.

Alternatively you might be able to untick it in startup, which would cure the "symptom". Type msconifg in the Run box and look in the Startup tab.

Another possibility is System Restore (to go back to before it was downloaded), although that would be a rather a big gun to use unless all other ideas fail.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

Unlocker or Moveonboot

A thank you would be nice, if I have helped.

#2 has possibilities if you can find the Crystal Maze file itself. My guess is that you don't really know where it resides because you haven't said so. This could still leave registry entries so if you can uninstall it properly it would be best as first try.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

Uninstall it from Add/Remove option. if the problem still persists then use a system utility tool to clean registry.
